LBCU Sunday school Association
Sunday School Association (SA) is LBCU department that unites LBCU Sunday schools and other children’s ministry units that are voluntarily involved in SA work. Its task is to promote ministry of Sunday schools and other children’s ministry forms in churches, church filial as well as other environments so that Children and their families would get to know God, would become Christ’s disciples and would live a life that testifies and honors God.
SA vision is that every LBCU church has Christocentric, multiplying and missional children’s ministry
SA responsibilities:
- To promote development of Sunday schools and children’s ministries within LBCU churches and outside them;
- To promote training and fellowship of Sunday school teachers and those involved in children’s ministry as well as provide encouragement for their ministry;
- To provide teaching materials and technical support for children’s ministries;
- To promote missional approach to Sunday school and children’s ministry work by supporting evangelization and expressions of Christian faith in everyday life;
- To promote Christian development in children;
- To promote the growing role of family in children’s Christian education and growth.
